DRY
HIRE

SOMEWHERE SPECIAL

At Ashfield House, when couples take over exclusively for their celebration, our house is like their home and we are like their extended family!

Our house is a gorgeous blank canvas; grand yet homely and is jam packed full of quirky details, magically managing to soak up the personality of each family.

For couples planning a Jewish, Asian or fusion wedding we offer the freedom to use your own caterers; dry hire without contracted or mandatory suppliers leaving you free to create a wedding that's just perfect for you.

THE CEREMONY

Our Ceremony Room is a charming blank canvas, with space for around 120 guests. The space is yours to decorate as you wish and you will have use of our bespoke limewash Chiavari chairs.

Ceremonies can also be held in any of our other rooms, The Music Room in particular is perfect for more intimate ceremonies.

THE MEAL

Our Reception Room seats 120 guests and overlooks our beautiful private gardens. It is a bright and airy blank canvas where your decoration can really stand out.

The adjoining Library Room and Music Room can
provide additional seating for guests. The Ceremony Room can be set for dining if you prefer two separate dining spaces.

Our kitchen is available for your chosen caterers to use but we ask that you let us know who you want to use so we can approve them.

THE HOUSE

Our house feels like a home! A home with a wonderful layout for weddings.

The Grand Hallway is the
heart of the house and all of our rooms branch out from here. Big enough to feel grand but not so big you lose the atmosphere.

We think little details and home comforts matter; we always have candles, flowers and lanterns in our hallway and our shelves, tables, nooks and crannies can be populated with your own details to make it truly feel like yours for the day.

Ashfield House is every photographer’s dream. There are so, so many places inside for dramatic portraits, natural documentary photography and group shots so you don’t have to rely on the weather.

THE GARDENS

From sunlit lawns for your drinks reception, romantic little corners for stolen moments and formal lawns, The Gardens at Ashfield House are the dream backdrop to your day.

As you explore, you’ll discover over the top herbaceous borders, sweeping lawns, manicured topiary, intimate woodland paths, a tiny tin chapel and fragrant David Austin roses weaving through trees. Your photographer will be spoilt for choice!

Upstairs we have fifteen charming bedrooms, available to book in addition to the Dry Hire costs. Each room has a personality of it’s own and Room Number One is a very special place for couples who wish to spend the night.

Our rooms are a mix of doubles and family rooms and they are pretty big so extra beds can be added in to give groups the perfect room setup.

We require a minimum of 5 bedroom bookings to open the upstairs.
